Principle of Red and Blue Light for Acne Treatment Most red and blue light devices use light-emitting diodes (LEDs) or xenon lamps as their light sources; therefore, red and blue light is often referred to as LED light. How effective is red and blue light therapy for acne, exactly?

1. Blue-light therapy for acne removal works through a series of natural physical processes, including eliminating acne-causing bacteria, altering the intracellular pH, and—most importantly—improving the immune system’s function. 2. If symptoms are more severe, oral medications such as Compound Muniziqi Granules are suggested. These granules help regulate abnormal body fluids and constitution, detoxify the body, treat acne, and reduce acne scars.
